Reunited

Couple of weeks ago some of my friends from Finland were visiting me in London.

I was fascinated by the playful, minimalistic & effortless nature of their style so I took some sneaky pictures whilst they weren’t looking. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present you the sneak peek at Scandinavian Men’s style a.k.a. a short introduction on how to be a trendsetter.

Pirms pāris nedēļām pie manis ciemojās draugi no Somijas.

Es ik pa laikam pieķēru sevi apbrīnojam puišu stilu, – tāds rotaļīgs, minimālistisks un viegls. Tā apbrīnošana aizgāja līdz stadijai, kad, pavisam pa kluso & uzglūnēdama no kaktiem, uzfotografēju nelielu fotoreportāžu. Dāmas un kungi, piedāvāju ieskatu Skandināvu vīriešu modē jebšu īsā pamācība kā definēt stilu.

Men’s fashion lesson #1: Get funky socks.
Socks are one of the brightest accessories a man can have. Have fun with colours and patterns.
Men’s fashion lesson #2: Wear a chunky and bold snood.
Will keep you warm and turn heads.
Men’s fashion lesson #3: Get a timeless accessory.
In this case, it’s a handmade elephant skin leather belt with the wearer’s surname embossed on it. The accessory to be passed down from generation to generation.
Men’s fashion lesson #4: Wear a funky watch.
The accessory that also serve a necessary purpose. Make sure yours is a statement.
Men’s fashion lesson #5: Be a trendsetter.
To quote Anna Dello Russo ‘Somebody wearing your same outfit? Wonderful, you did the right choice.’
